I have read that logmein.com can be used for free to communicate with your home PC, which lets you browse the web through your home PC which is unfiltered. (I have no issue at work so I've never tried it.) Windows has functionality like this built in, but it's not as fast and easy as going to a website. Search your OS help on VPN. Also, you can download and run VNC Server rather than learn about VPN.
