Matt Youmans, Las Vegas Review-Journal: Wisconsin needs a victory if it wants to earn a berth to a postseason game. Expect the desperate Badgers to handle visiting Illinois.
Double D, Boston Herald: Michigan State hasn't won a game in Ann Arbor since 1990, but that skid is about to end. Lay the small number (-3) and load up on the Spartans against Michigan.
Jon Wilner, San Jose Mercury News: California by 17 and USC by 16? Too many points, so he's going with the underdog UCLA Bruins and Arizona Wildcats.
Tim Sullivan, New York Post: USC has won three in a row since losing to Oregon State, outscoring the opposition, 141-10. Lay the points and take the Trojans on the road at Arizona.
National Championship Issue: The Georgia Bulldogs are about to walk into Baton Rouge and beat the Louisiana State Tigers by 10. And don't count out the Baylor Bears against Nebraska.
Doug Segrest, Birmingham News: Sizing up the Southeastern Conference. Florida should not have much trouble brushing aside Kentucky.
Chuck Carlton, Dallas Morning News: Texas hasn't scored fewer than 52 points in a home game, but Oklahoma State can put up points, too. In what should be a wild game, expect a 48-40 Longhorn victory.
Phil Steele: He picked against Texas last week, but isn't about to make the same mistake. And look for Penn State to win a tight game in Columbus.
Heisman Pundit: Life doesn't get any easier for Phillip Fulmer. Alabama is about to hand Tennessee another loss, this one at home.
Tuley the Tout: He's all over the Minnesota Golden Gophers to take care of business at Purdue. Tuley also has some Breeders' Cup plays.
DJZ College Football: Sizing them up, from Louisiana Tech-Army to USC-Arizona.
Tony Barnhart, Atlanta Journal-Constitution: LSU has the home field, but Georgia has the better team.
John Werner, Waco Tribune-Herald: Breaking down the Big 12. Texas and Texas Tech remain undefeated to set up a showdown next week in Lubbock.
College Injury Report: Get the latest on who's hurt and who is healthy.

1.) USC is the best team in the country. I can't see why they are ranked as low as they are.
2.) They have the best defense by far in the country.
3.) Teams with good defense tends to be underrated...Ex: Georgia Tech, Ohio State..Teams with bad defense tend to be overrated.Ex: Texas and Missouri.
4.) Other than the Oregon State game they have allowed only 20 points in 5 games.
