Huge game Saturday at Lubbock, where Texas Tech needed overtime to defeat Nebraska, 37-31. It was homecoming weekend and Wiz correspondent Greg was on hand to check out the festivities.
This is the Will Rogers statue in the center of campus on Friday. It was wrapped to protect it from vandals.
Bonfires are big in Texas and the stage was set to roast the Cornhuskers.
These are the guys who were in charge of setting the wood pallets on fire.
Mission accomplished.
Being Miss Lubbock does have its perks, one being that you get to ride in the homecoming parade, held Saturday morning under rainy skies.
