Sports By Brooks sent along video of this gruesome injury suffered by Houston receiver Patrick Edwards in the third quarter of Tuesday night's game at Huntington, W.Va.
Edwards' right knee slams into an equipment cart that was parked behind one of the end zones. He suffered a compound fracture of his right leg. The Cougars lost, 37-23.
Brooks writes: "Not much you can do if you’re Houston at this point. Edwards, on the other hand, is likely to be lawyered-up in short order."
