In what is quickly becoming the norm, Penn State's Joe Paterno spent another Saturday coaching from the press box. The working story is that Paterno injured his right leg in practice before the first game doing an onside kick.
But as Sam Ross Jr. of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review noted, the validity of that story is in question given Paterno's comments after the Purdue game. Ross also notes that Paterno wore unmatched shoes and had to steady himself with the podium when talking with reporters.
Thanks to Joe Hermitt of the Patriot-News for the video.
