Meet Tony Franklin, Auburn's Fall Guy

Auburn is plowing through offensive coordinators like Spinal Tap plowed through drummers. Tony Franklin, who is featured in the top video, is the second offensive coordinator fired in 10 months by Tommy Tuberville. "They told me to get lost," Franklin announced to the assembled vultures. Franklin added that he had to speak with some people, presumably lawyers, before driving off.

Tuberville is featured in the bottom video, putting his spin on the mess. He ousted Al Borges in December to get Franklin, whose spread offense never seemed to be a good fit at Auburn. Next up for the Tigers: Arkansas, which is 107th in rush defense.
