It's the game of the year (to this point) in college football. Texas Tech visits Oklahoma on Saturday and the Sooners opened as 7-point favorites. The line has dropped to 6.5 at the time of this post. The over/under opened at 76 and quickly dropped to 72.
The other game of significance has Brigham Young visiting Utah (-4), although we once heard they frown on gambling in the great state of Utah.
The week starts Tuesday with, of course, a Mid-American Conference game. Northern Illinois (-4) is at Kent State. On Wednesday, Ball State (-5) travels to Central Michigan. Thursday's game has Miami at Georgia Tech (-3.5).
Three games on Friday The other Miami — the Ohio version — plays at Toledo (-2). Buffalo is at Bowling Green (-4) and Fresno State (-1.5) travels to San Jose State.
Saturday's games include Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (-5); Boston College at Wake Forest (-2.5); Michigan at Ohio State (-24); Florida State at Maryland (pick); Michigan State at Penn State (-13.5); Oregon State at Arizona (-3) and last but not least, Washington (-8.5) at Washington State. Sorry, no line posted on that big Citadel-Florida game.
On Sunday, Connecticut is at South Florida (-4).
