I found myself wondering if Coach Carroll is really that different from all the other coaches or if there are plenty of coaches like him who simply don't have the attention/success he earns. But, I guess that's part of the difference too.

That was one of the biggest puff pieces I've ever seen. Why wasn't there anything about the NCAA's investigation into the program or Reggie Bush? Or why Frostee Rucker was allowed to play even after he had beaten up his girl friend?
Pete's just like any other slick college football coach, he just knows how to play the media like a fiddle.
