Joe Giglio of the Raleigh News & Observer has finished his annual look at how Bowl Championship Series conferences fared in 2008, and if you're a fan of the Atlantic Coast Conference, you have something to brag about.
The ACC won more games (17) against opponents from BCS conferences and Notre Dame than any other league.
The Big East had the highest winning percentage (.550), edging the ACC (.548).
Bringing up the rear was the Big Ten, which logged only seven victories in 20 tries (.350) against BCS opponents. Here are links to the complete ACC results and BCS results.
Cramming a schedule full of I-AA opponents always helps fill the bowl resume, and BCS teams didn't disappoint in 2008. Combined, they went 50-0 against I-AA opponents. As Giglio pointed out before the start of the season, we've had our Appalachian State moment and now it's time the big boys drop I-AA teams from the schedule.
Giglio also has links to data for the 2007 and 2006 seasons. The ACC had a BCS record of 13-16 in 2007 and 6-16 in 2006.

Why don't you display the opponents average winning percentage?
And the 2 games that the ACC played vs the SEC? They were both favored, and got beat by Vandy and top 15 GT (ha) got trounced by LSU.
The ACC had 2 wins against BCS teams this bowl season. Cincinnati, in the all time worst Orange Bowl, and Wisconsin. YEA, lets brag!!1
At least they dominated Nevada..wait, 7 points isn't dominating?

can you please add the Mountain Wests record against this -- with a 6-1 record against the PAC 10, I would think they would have stacked up favorably to the other leagues
