What's a guy to do hours after his starting quarterback decides to leave a year of eligibility on the table to give the NFL a shot? If you're Pete Carroll, you hit the town.
The USC coach had clearly gotten over Mark Sanchez's departure when he arrived Thursday night at grand opening of the ESPN Zone in downtown Los Angeles. Carroll is pictured with Paul Netter, right, our former colleague at the Los Angeles Times, and his wife, Bridget, who gets credit for the photos. There's more after the jump.

I was there too. Met Pete, Reggie, and Bridget. Bridget was by far the nicest, but everyone was extremely hospitable to a couple of southern girls.
