The Mad Scientist of Football

Not the best timing by CBS' "60 Minutes," which ran its profile of Texas Tech's Mike Leach two days after his team went down in flames to Mississippi, 47-34, in the Cotton Bowl.

Now is Leach really a genius as "60 Minutes" and author Michael Lewis make him out to be, or is he just a master of working the system, a point raised in a post by Tom Kirkendall that we linked to over the weekend?
