Who says it never snows in Southern California? An afternoon storm left its mark Tuesday in the west end of the San Fernando Valley, where the top of the mountains displayed a layer of the white stuff. Needless to say, this put a serious crimp in outdoor filming in Chatsworth.

The snow really contrasts nicely with the smog

In the summer when the smog really kicks in, you can't see the mountains across the Valley. That's about 10 miles from range to range.
Of course, we don't like to breathe any air we can't see. ...
