The 146-year-old Post-Intelligencer was Seattle's oldest business. Last month, the Rocky Mountain News, which was two months shy of its 150th birthday, closed. Former Rocky staffers are now trying to start an online news publication, the In Denver Times.

This is sad, the PI building in Queen Ann is iconic. However, I don't know a single person under the age of 40 the subscribes to the daily paper...in any city.
