Why is it that the SEC has all the "speed" in football, but they suck in basketball? You would think "speed" would help in basketball.

It does seem like they do high grade speed in SEC country. It becomes apparent when any discussion about football, no matter the aspect, turns into an "SEC is the best conference" argument.
