The Wolfpack enter 2009 riding a wave of momentum. After a 2-6 start in 2008, North Carolina State ran off four wins in a row in November to secure a berth to the Pizza Bowl, where it lost to Rutgers. Quarterback Russell Wilson was a big reason for the turnaround and the good news is that he's only a sophomore this fall. The Wolfpack play eight home games. Click the image for an enlarged view. Wilson may play only one more year; he's set to graduate next spring and will likely go into the baseball draft. That's according to Tom O'Brien.
