Lonnie White has spent his life around football. He was a player at USC before joining the staff of the Los Angeles Times, where covered a number of beats, including college football, and authored the book, "UCLA vs. USC: 75 Years of the Greatest Rivalry in Sports."
Lonnie recently spent several weeks on the road helping guide his nephew, a high school player in the Los Angeles area, through a series of summer camps, and last week he joined the Versus Network.
Lonnie brings a unique perspective to the game and he joined us for a podcast to discuss how recruiting has changed from when he went through the experience to today.
The podcast runs 13:16 and you can listen by clicking here.
One announcement to make regarding the podcasts, which are available for download on iTunes. If you've been a subscriber in the past, you'll need to re-subscribe. The reason is that we changed the feed URL for iTunes and according to Apple, old subscribers will not be redirected. Click here to go to our link on iTunes or search the iTunes store for "The Wiz of Odds." For a complete list of past podcasts on the site, click here.

Signed up today for the podcasts on ITunes. Looking forward to a fun season.
