This week's schedule is proof that teams from the Mid-American Conference will play any night of the week.
It's a busy week overall, with games from Tuesday-Sunday, so let's get to it.
Ohio travels to Buffalo on Tuesday. The Bobcats, winners of four of their last five, opened as 1.5-point road favorites.
On Wednesday, Toledo is at Central Michigan. The Chippewas are favored by 17.
On Thursday, the featured game is South Florida at Rutgers, with the Scarlet Knights favored by 3. There are two other games involving MAC teams. Bowling Green tries to keep its bowl hopes alive when it travels to Miami (Ohio). The Falcons are favored by 4.5 over the RedHawks, winners of only one game. Ball State is at Northern Illinois, and the Huskies are favored by 17.
Two games on Friday the 13th. West Virginia gets its shot at knocking Cincinnati from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Bearcats opened as 8.5-point home favorites. Temple, which has won seven in a row, is at Akron. The Owls are favored by 7.
Featured games on Saturday: Iowa at Ohio State (-13); Texas (-25) at Baylor; Nebraska (-3) at Kansas; Idaho at Boise State (-28.5); Notre Dame at Pittsburgh (-6.5); Stanford at USC (-10); Arizona (-2) at California; Missouri at Kansas State (-2.5); Florida (-15) at South Carolina; Alabama (-14) at Mississippi State; Miami (-5.5) at North Carolina and Utah at Texas Christian (-16).
On Sunday, East Carolina is at Tulsa (-7).
