The week starts Tuesday night with a Sun Belt Conference game between Troy and Middle Tennessee State. The visiting Trojans opened as a 3-point favorite.

On Wednesday, the University of Alabama at Birmingham plays at Central Florida in a Conference USA East Division matchup. The Knights opened as a 12.5-point favorite.

A Big 12 North Division showdown on Thursday. Nebraska travels to Manhattan to play Kansas State. The Cornhuskers are favored by 10.

On Friday, Connecticut travels to Rutgers in a Big East game. The Huskies are favored by 4. Oklahoma State steps out of conference play and travels to Lafayette to play Louisiana. The Cowboys are favored by 21.

Saturday's games of note: Michigan State at Michigan (-5); Utah (-4) at Iowa State; Alabama (-10) at South Carolina; Louisiana State at Florida (-9); Pittsburgh at Notre Dame (-8); Texas A&M vs. Arkansas (-7.5) at Arlington; Florida State at Miami (-7); Oregon State at Arizona (-7.5); USC at Stanford (-7) and Hawaii at Fresno State (-11.5).
