Saw something very similar in a girls powder-puff flag football game when I was in high school over 30 years ago. It's a wonder the refs in this clip didn't get fooled themselves and blow the play dead.

That's an illegal snap and should have been blown dead. These middle school games are usually called by new officials, no suprise they mised it.

Other teams coach and parents outta be pissed. Nobody athlete knows all the rules in MIDDLE school. That coach took a cheap shot against the other team and I really feel he's teaching his kids the opposite of having good sportsmanship.
Wait for High School for these antics.

It is an illegal snap. It's hard finding good help these days. Probably volunteer officials.
