Palmer, 32, is a busy man during the college football season. He is an analyst for ESPN's Thursday night telecasts and studio analyst for ABC's College Football Live each Saturday.
The Toronto native played quarterback at Florida and had a four-year NFL career that was largely forgettable — three touchdown passes and four interceptions. But Palmer's big break came off the field in 2004 when he was cast in ABC's "The Bachelor." He used the notoriety to launch a broadcasting career, eventually landing at ESPN in 2007.
Although he's Canadian, Palmer is no Don Cherry when it comes to the world of fashion. He has been praised by GQ for being the "best-dressed man on ESPN."
Palmer developed his style in 2001 during his rookie season with the New York Giants. "I used to kinda like a more English dandy thing — loud patterns, bright colors, crazy socks and pocket squares," he said. "But then I changed to a more conservative, European, slimmer line and toned the colors down. It's funny, my friends now all say I look like the guys on 'Mad Men' but I was doing that way before the show came out."
He told GQ in 2009 that he owned at least 35 Ermenegildo Zegna suits and preferred Alexander Olch or Ralph Lauren Black Label ties. As for shoes, Palmer liked a "pair of cognac-colored Barker Black brogues. They've got the little skull and crown on the toe. They're really cool."
He's not a regular guy and that bothers a lot of viewers.
Enough of our yappin'. What do you think? Do you like Jesse Palmer? Do you not like Jesse Palmer.
