New Pittsburgh coach Mike Haywood was arrested in Indiana on Friday and charged with domestic battery charges after the mother of his 21-month-old child told police he "held her in a choke-hold" and pushed her during a domestic dispute. The woman had marks on her neck, arms and back, according to police.
Haywood, 46, was hired as Pittsburgh's coach on Dec. 16, replacing Dave Wannstedt. Athletic director Steve Pederson called Haywood "a man of integrity, a man of character."

Dan McCarney says there is nothing to see here; move along.
