Notre Dame ended 2010 with a flourish but the momentum failed to carry over to last Saturday, when the Fighting Irish lost to South Florida, 23-20. Now Brian Kelly has a quarterback controversy, with Game 1 starter Dayne Crist struggling against the Bulls and backup Tommy Rees igniting the offense in the second half. Next up are games at Michigan and at home against Michigan State.
