A controversial call in Friday night's West Virginia-Cincinnati game, won by the Bearcats, 24-21. Watch Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead jump over the line and reach for the goal with the ball. He fumbles and West Virginia recovers.
The official in the replay booth rules otherwise, giving Cincinnati a touchdown.
"I don't want to be disrespectful, but I'm going to save that for the Big East,'' West Virginia's Bill Stewart said. "They called it the way they saw it.''
This brings back memories of the 2007 Pittsburgh-West Virginia game, when a couple of very questionable holding calls went against the Panthers. The Mountaineers, much like the Bearcats on Friday night, needed a victory to keep their hopes alive for a berth in the Bowl Championship Series title game.
Despite the questionable officiating, Pittsburgh won, 13-9, in what was Rich Rodriguez's last game as West Virginia coach. Video of that game is after the jump.

On Sunday, Cincinnati moved to No. 8 in the Associated Press poll, making the Bearcats the highest-ranked team in Ohio — one spot ahead of Ohio State.
