Here's the highlight from Thursday night's UCLA-Arizona game at Tucson. Watch closely as a man dressed as an official enters from the top of the screen. He attempts to grab the ball from an official, then runs off camera, removes his clothes and streaks around the north end of Arizona Stadium.
While law enforcement wrestle the man to the ground, a brawl starts between Bruin and Wildcat players. Three players were ejected — two from Arizona and one from UCLA.
UCLA's Rick Neuheisel put on the hard sell before the 2008 season, his first as Bruin coach. A newspaper ad took a shot at rival USC by proclaiming, "The Football Monopoly in Los Angeles Is Officially Over." Three years later, Neuheisel has a 15-22 record — including three losses to the Trjoans — and the fanbase is restless.
Watch closely as a boy falls approximately 10 feet over a rail and onto a tarp at Sun Devil Stadium during Friday's UCLA-Arizona State game at Tempe. Thankfully, he did not appear to be seriously hurt. Thanks to Larry Brown Sports.
Oregon might be second in the Bowl Championship Series standings, but all that could change after a 60-13 rout of UCLA. Our friends at Image of Sport, the sports photography wire service for daily newspapers and editorial publications, were in Eugene on Thursday night and here is a sampling of their work.
