Patrick Edwards, the Houston receiver who broke his right leg last fall when he ran into a metal service cart during a game at Marshall, plans on playing this fall.
"Patrick Edwards is coming back next season and I'm going to pick up where I left off." Edwards said in an interview with Houston TV station KRIV. "I am going to be better than that because I've got confidence."
Edwards started participating in non-contract drills last week. He also plans to file legal action against Marshall.
"I am going to wait until next fall and see how well I come back," he said. "If I'm limited from the stuff that I used to do that I can't do then I am going to take [legal] action, but I am going to take action anyway. I'm just going to see how well I come back."
