A bowl game can often serve as a launching pad for a Heisman Trophy run the following season, and several players who hope to figure into the stiff-arm trophy mix in 2010 will be looking to make an impression this postseason.
Chris Huston, the Heisman Pundit, has listed 17 players who figure into the mix, including two players from Oregon. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, left, and running back LaMichael James, will showcase their skills during the Rose Bowl, along with another possible candidate, Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
Miami also has two players on the list. Quarterback Jacory Harris and running back Graig Cooper will be playing in the Dec. 28 Champs Sports Bowl against Wisconsin.
One player missing from the list is Alabama's Mark Ingram, who brought home the hardware last Saturday.
Huston writes: "Hold on there, Tide fans. It's not that I don't think he can't get some Heisman support — he probably will — it's just that I don't think he can win it again. Why? Well, it's my belief that there will never be another two-time Heisman winner.
"Dont worry, Jason White, Matt Leinart, Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford all pretty much got the same treatment from me after winning the Heisman and returning the following season."

Go Ducks! I hope Masoli and James tear up Ohio State. The Buckeyes have a great defense, and they will certianly bring the heat. I dont think they can keep up with the pace that Oregon runs though.
