John Daly's taste in fashion is coming to the Southeastern Conference.
Daly announced this week that LoudMouth Golf had agreed to a contract with the University of Tennessee to sell orange "check-pants, shirts and skorts."
"The good news for you guys is: the University of Tennessee is our first LoudMouth NCAA contract we got," Daly told the Knoxville News Sentinel. "[The items] are going to hopefully be in some of the stores there at the university."
Daly, 44, has become a marketing master after his personal life derailed a promising career on the links. He entering into a limited partnership with LoudMouth in the past year.
"I didn't have any deals with anybody,'' Daly said, "but I kind of saw an opportunity to get inside and be a partner. Not a big partner. But I'm more of a royalty guy in this field, and I have a little ownership, but it's something different.
"I like the feel and the comfort these things give. Yeah, they're loud, but they're so comfortable."
