The BCS Guru projects that Bob Stoops' Oklahoma Sooners will be No. 1 in the first Bowl Championship Series standings that will be released on Sunday.
The Sooners are expected to get the nod over Boise State, which was No. 1 in the projections last week. Oklahoma crushed Iowa State, 52-0, and Boise State rolled San Jose State, 48-0.
Oregon, which had Saturday off in preparation for Thursday night's home game against UCLA, is No. 3. Texas Christian, which clipped Brigham Young, 31-3, is No. 4, followed by Auburn and Louisiana State. Auburn and LSU play Saturday at Auburn.
Michigan State, Alabama, Nebraska and Ohio State complete the top 10.
Wisconsin, Utah, Stanford, Missouri and Oklahoma round out the top 15.
