This week is nirvana for aficionados of the Mid-American Conference.
The conference that will play a game on any day of the week dominates the early lineup with games Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ohio, Temple and Miami (Ohio) are bunched at the top of the East Division with 5-1 records. The Bobcats and Owls meet Tuesday night in Philadelphia, with Temple opening as a 10-point favorite.
On Wednesday, Miami visits winless Akron. The RedHawks are favored by 13. Bowling Green travels to Toledo, with Rockets favored by 9.5.
There are three games Thursday. UCLA plays at Washington (-3) and Air Force (-21) travels to Nevada Las Vegas. Alabama plays host to Georgia State, but no line is posted because the visiting Panthers are a Division I-AA team.
Boise State gets another opportunity to shine in primetime Friday when it plays host to Fresno State. The Broncos are favored by 30.
Saturday's games of note: Connecticut at Syracuse (-3); Florida State (-3) at Maryland; Wisconsin (-7) at Michigan; Ohio State (-3.5) at Iowa; Arkansas (-5.5) at Mississippi State; Illinois (-5) vs. Northwestern at Wrigley Field; North Carolina State at North Carolina (-2.5); Stanford (-8) at California; Virginia Tech (-3) at Miami; Pittsburgh (-3) at South Florida; Nebraska (-2.5) at Texas A&M; USC (-3) at Oregon State and Utah (-2) at San Diego State. No line posted on Notre Dame-Army at Yankee Stadium.
