The trailer for "Pony Excess," which chronicles the story of the greed, power and corruption that spilled from the Texas oil fields and onto the Southern Methodist program from 1981-84.
On Feb. 25, 1987, the university and college football were rocked, as the NCAA meted out "the death penalty" on a program for the first and only time in its history.
The documentary will be shown Saturday night at 9 p.m. (Eastern) on ESPN after the Heisman Trophy ceremony.
