The Life of Teague Egan, USC Student and NFL Agent

Who is Teague Egan? He's the USC student and registered NFL agent who gave freshman tailback Dillon Baxter a ride across campus in his custom golf cart two weeks ago that resulted in Baxter being suspended for the Trojans' game against Oregon State.

Although the NFLPA doesn't certify anyone as an agent unless they have undergraduate and advance degrees and Egan doesn't graduate until May, he asked for and was given a waiver based on his experience as a negotiator. He officially became an agent on Oct. 1, which has created quite the problem for USC, already on heightened alert after NCAA sanctions for improper benefits by an agent to the parents of Reggie Bush.

Egan contends he has been friends with several USC players long before he became an agent and he told T.J. Simers of the Los Angeles Times that his goal is to sign four to six Trojans for the upcoming NFL draft, possibly as early as Sunday.

"Like [NFL agent] Drew Rosenhaus who represented every Miami kid after going to school at Miami, I intend to represent every USC kid," he said.

Egan isn't shy about his relationship with the players.

"I was in the bar the other night and all of them [football players] came in," Egan says. "We were all there together and they said they had my back; we're still all friends. They said it's absurd they are being told who they can and can't be friends with."

As you can see from the video, he lives a lavish lifestyle for a college student. You'll even get a look at the golf cart, which has not been registered per USC rules and should not have been on campus.

Egan grew up in Florida and spent $4,000 of his dad's money while in high school trying to develop a bottle with two compartment to make it easier to pour mixed drinks. He also drew up plans to put a retractable roof over the Miami Dolphins' stadium.

After he arrived at USC, he formed a party business called 1st Round Entertainment that brought students to downtown clubs in exchange for a percentage of drinks sold.

"We had four limos and piled 50 kids at a time into them. Cost us $1,100," he told Simers.

He spent his 21st birthday in Nantucket and recently started another business titled 1st Round Records, which signed Sam Adams. The rapper's "Boston's Boy" album then went to No. 1 on iTunes and Egan opened an office on Sunset Boulevard.

Egan is now having discussions with Lady Gaga's manager and a possible partnership with Anil Ambani, the sixth-richest man in the world.

As a USC grad, I can attest to the development of the area around campus which is filled with fast food joints and other establishments where students can grab a bite once the dining halls close.
