UCLA's Rick Neuheisel put on the hard sell before the 2008 season, his first as Bruin coach. A newspaper ad took a shot at rival USC by proclaiming, "The Football Monopoly in Los Angeles Is Officially Over." Three years later, Neuheisel has a 15-22 record — including three losses to the Trjoans — and the fanbase is restless.
