Remember Cody Paul? Back in 2006 when he was 12, Paul was the pint-sized terror of a running back/return specialist for the Los Alamitos Griffins, the Pee-Wee Pop Warner national champions. After the above video of Paul was posted on YouTube, it went viral. To date, it has been viewed nearly 8 million times with over 23,000 comments.
Paul is now a senior starting tailback/return specialist at Los Alamitos High in Orange County, California. After the jump is a highlight video from his junior season, when he ran for 676 yards and six touchdowns.
Paul, at 5 foot 5 and 159 pounds, is not drawing much interest from college recruiters, despite rushing for 531 yards and nine touchdowns in five games as a senior.
"The only school that's actually contacted me was [Division I-AA] Bryant University," he told Max Preps. "I got some other letters, one from Oregon, but Bryant is the only school I've talked to."
NOW, he looks like he's 12:)
