If a sixth consecutive losing season wasn't enough to send Texas El Paso's Mike Price into retirement, perhaps a seventh will make the 66-year-old coach consider a life of leisure at his vacation home on the shore of Idaho's Lake Coeur d'Alene. Nothing will come easy for the Miners, who open at home against Oklahoma, then travel to Mississippi before playing host to New Mexico State. A trip to Wisconsin follows, meaning a 0-4 start is likely. For once, Price isn't complaining about a challenging schedule. "I love what I'm doing," he said. Nonetheless, this is the final year of his contract, so let the speculation begin.
