Rutgers will spend 2013 in the American Athletic Conference before moving — along with Maryland — to the Big Ten in 2014. The Scarlet Knights won nine games in 2012 on the strength of their defense, which ranked 10th nationally.
Games of note include at Fresno State (Aug. 29), Arkansas (Sept. 21), at Louisville (Oct. 10) and Cincinnati (Nov. 16).
