Nothing against Mike Price, but new Texas El Paso coach Sean Kugler is considerably more menacing when carrying a pickaxe.
Kugler is an interesting hire. He has coached on the high school, college and NFL levels. The man, unlike all those sons of college coaches who get pulled up by daddy, has paid his dues.
The schedule is favorable, especially in September. A 4-0 or 3-1 start is possible. If that happens, the Miners will have set themselves up to play in a bowl.
