It was resting comfortably in the corner the past nine months, then yours truly decided to disturb that stack of papers and see what needed to be kept and what needed to go into the recycle bin.
And there it was — near the bottom, of course. Sheets detailing odds for the 2013 season, sent last August by a trusted friend in Las Vegas.
If I only knew then what I know now. Yes, Vegas can be wrong. Way wrong.
The six sheets that are posted detail games of the year, odds of winning conference championships and number of regular season wins. The odds listed on each sheet range from late July to early August.
An investor could have cleaned up on Auburn. The Tigers were 60/1 to win the Southeastern Conference title game. Auburn was listed as a 21.5-point underdog in its Nov. 30 game against Alabama.
Florida State was a 1.5-point underdog at Clemson on Oct. 19. The Seminoles were 3-point underdogs at Florida on Nov. 30.
No shortage of goodies to pick over. The rest of the sheets are posted after the jump. Click an image to enlarge.
