Bob Davie inherited a massive rebuilding job at New Mexico. He replaced Mike Locksley, who went 2-26 before being fired midway through the 2011 season. Davie is 7-18 in two seasons. The belief is that a foundation is in place for a return to winning, but will it happen this season? Perhaps not, unless a leaky defense can be fixed.
