More Good Cheer From Wolf

Scott Wolf kept the streak alive Saturday at the USC-UCLA game. The L.A. Daily News writer somehow found himself in the middle of the Bruin cheerleaders at the Rose Bowl. It's the first time Wolf has scored a shot at a road game and continues an impressive streak that started with the Oregon cheerleaders and continued with squads from Arizona State, Washington, California and Notre Dame. Scott Wolf, the USC beat writer for the L.A. Daily News, kept his streak of posing with visiting cheerleaders alive Saturday when he rounded up the Notre Dame squad for this shot. It has been an impressive run through the California, Washington, Arizona State and Oregon squads. The Streak Lives

The cheerleader series continues for Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News. He's in the middle with the California Golden Bear squad during last Saturday's game at the L.A. Coliseum.

Others in the series include Washington, Arizona State and Oregon. Only one home game left for USC: Nov. 29 vs. Notre Dame.

Times are tough in the newspaper biz, and reporters are grabbing whatever glory they can get. Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News, who was pictured last week with the Oregon cheerleaders, scores again with the Arizona State cheerleaders.

So, You Want to Be a Sportswriter?

No, print journalism is not dead. Scott Wolf, who covers USC for the Los Angeles Daily News, proved as much Saturday.

His assignment was to cover the game between Oregon and USC and from the looks of it, he did very well. Wolf writes: "In the course of duty, I decided to spend time with the Oregon cheerleaders Saturday and tell the girls how popular they are with the readers. And they couldn't be friendlier. ... Luckily, Joe Andras of WeAreSC.com was nearby to take a great picture."
