Anything that makes drinking beer easier gets this blog's seal of approval. Check out Shoot A Brew, the cooler that launches a cold one at the touch of a remote control.
The device, designed by Iowa State alumnus Derek Hoy, made its debut in September at the Iowa State-Kansas State game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
"I probably shot it off three times and I had a crowd," he told KCCI-TV in Des Moines. "You could see their heads turn. I certainly realized it had potential because everybody that sees it says, 'Oh wow, you've got to sell this.' "
Shoot A Brew costs $295 and Hoy is already a busy man. Estimated time of delivery is six-eight months.
